Beas River Rafting — Kullu

Kullu 4.3 14 km / ~2 hrs Moderate Apr–Jun (peak water)

Overview

The Kullu-Manali stretch of the Beas offers some of the most accessible white-water rafting in the Himalaya. Rapids are graded II–III — exciting enough for first-timers, not terrifying. You'll paddle through pine-lined gorges with the occasional splash that soaks everyone. Operators run fixed 14 km sections with transport back to the start point. Monsoon (Jul–Aug) is off-limits due to water volume.
