Ganga Rafting — Rishikesh

Rishikesh 4.6 16 km / ~3 hrs Challenging Sep–Jun (avoid monsoon)

Overview

Rishikesh is India's rafting capital. The Shivpuri-to-Laxman Jhula stretch packs Grade III–IV rapids with names like Roller Coaster and Golf Course. You'll get wet, you'll paddle hard, and there's a cliff jump stop midway for the brave. Operators are licensed and safety gear is non-negotiable. Monsoon is closed — the Ganga in flood is not a tourist activity.
